The AUD/USD pair initially fell during the course of the day on Thursday, but found enough support to turn things back around and form a hammer. The hammer isn’t much to look at though, and quite frankly it is right in the middle of a consolidation zone. With that, we are quite content to stand on the sidelines as the Australian dollar is without a doubt very sluggish at the moment. Gold markets aren’t helping either, and as a result we feel that this market is probably one that’s best left alone during the present time.
