The JPY remains in a consolidated mode as of this morning. There have been initial reports from South Korea that there has been an escalation of troubles between the two Koreas. This situation will have to be watched and could cause some volatility within the Asian markets including Japan. The AUD has had an interesting range trade the past twenty hours, this as Gold appears to have stabilized in the wake of more currency concerns (from the EUR). Also the situation in the Koreas must be taken into account when watching the price of Gold today too.
