The AUD/USD pair tried to rally during the session on New Year’s Eve, but as you can see pullback in order to form a shooting star at the top of the reason consolidation area. It is because of this that we feel that the market probably fall from here, but in a short-term move only. The real move will probably come after the employment numbers come out of the United States, so therefore we expect the next couple of sessions to be rather quiet in this marketplace. Regardless, we do not have any intention of buying at the moment.
