The AUD/USD pair broke higher initially during the session on Monday, but turned back around to form a bit of a shooting star. The shooting star of course is a very negative sign and the fact that it isn’t the bottom of the recent consolidation does give us a bit of concern for the uptrend that has recently found itself at home in this market. However, at this point in time we think the market is more or less just going to bounce around in general, and with that we have no interest whatsoever in trading this market as it will be very volatile.
